I hope you all had a great start to 2023!
We had some big events in 2022. We started keeping a memory jar to read at the start of the New Year, to help us keep track of our new adventures. (Click on links to read the posts.)
- Saw a couple new National Parks/Sites (William Howard Taft National Historic Site, Mammoth Cave, Gettysburg, Shenandoah)
- Moved back into a house
- One of the kiddos had surgery, but recovered well
- Saw a Red’s game and Bengal’s game
- Went to the Zoo
- Ben and Nick went to Chicago
- Spring and Fall soccer (one played, one refed)
- Will got his temps
- Ben started a new job
- I wrote 3 books (published 2 with the 3rd releasing in early 2023 under a pseudonym)
- Explored our local area to find new and interesting things (VOA Museum, Mercantile Library, Harmon Museum, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Lucky Cat Museum, Taft Museum of Art, Air Force Museum
- Took a whistle tour
- Took a prison tour
What a great idea! It makes you appreciate all the events of the year!
